30s Wallhanging (gifts and prizes_
The miniature quilt on the left was a wonderful little prize I won at Annual Meeting years ago. It is done in the most exquisite needle-turn applique ever. I love it!!! It hangs on the wall in my sewing room.
The quilt on the right was made by my good friend, Loretta Nielsen. She gave it to me for our Christmas wallhanging swap. It is very special to me because of who made it, the 30s fabrics in it, and the quilting -- Loretta's first every machine quilting!
You can really visualize the sizes of these little wall quilts when you compare them to the size of the sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 papers pinned to the wall.
